Leanne has worked in a Saloon, waiting tables, selling drinks, singing, but refusing to sell her body to the patrons. It was not the life she wanted, and seeking a way out, she placed an ad in the Matrimonial times, but did not mention that she worked in a saloon. When Val Depue asks her to come and be his wife, she hopes that her life will finally be everything she longs for. But how often are things as simple as that?
I received an Advance Review Copy of this book. And like her other stories, Ms. Linnington has woven another tale of two people finding each other and having to overcome significant problems as they learn to trust each other, as well as how to love someone and forgive their past mistakes.
I enjoyed reading this tale. There were some interesting twists along the way, but as can be expected from her books, the characters found their way through the worst and to a happy ending together. If you've read any of her other books, enjoy mail rider bride stories, or are just looking for something that has an ending that will make you smile, then you will enjoy this book.
